University of Utah Liberal Education Council meeting minutes and reports 1975-1983

The Liberal Education Council was established in 1974 to "develop recommendations for the renovation and revitalization of the existing program of general education." The Council evaluated the effectiveness of liberal education courses and dealt with other matters related to academic policy. The bulk of this collection consists of meeting minutes of the Council. Also included are reports of the University Senate on liberal education.
